Project: Machina Red- Evolution
Well, I figure it's time to finally start this. My first major build log, and foray into watercooling (wouldn't you guess).
So, let's go. Machina RED: Evolution Hardware (will be updated as we go along): CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 Mobo: EVGA nForce 680i SLI RAM: 2x1GB OCZ DDR2 1150 HPC Reaper GPU: MSI Radeon HD 4850 PSU: [the power supply is going to change soon, don't watch that] Case: ABS/Tagan A+ Black Pearl Cooling: CPU: Enzotech SCW-Rev.A (Sapphire) Southbridge: EK NB/SB 6 Northbridge: EK 860i SLI Radiator(s): Thermochill P120.3 (may be two) Pump(s): Laing DDC 3.0 (modded to 3.2) w/ XSPC top Reservoir: Custom "Machina Redline" Reservoir by FrozenQ Fans: Phobya Nano-G 120 (Thanks, p0Pe) Tubing: Primochill Primo-Flex Red tubing RED is for things I haven't gotten yet. Italics for things on the way. I'll post some pics in the next coming posts. Nothing I haven't posted in the WC thread. Crow Speaks: So, PTS closed for the holidays, so I didn't get a chance to order my SB block. I'm getting the NB block directly from Eddy, so I may see if he has any of the SB blocks in stock. I've a bunch of mods planned out so far, so it'll be pretty interesting. I can't believe it's actually coming together, thanks to the guys at RRTech, especially BiNGE, Red, Marne, coolmeister, Slappy, FrozenQ (Alex), who hooked me up with a kick ass piece, that I'm yet to pay him for, and all of the other folks who gave their advice and helped out in little ways. The hardware will upgrade as we go along, I've a job lined up in March, that'll help that process move along much quickly, and I expect the final hardware to be in by the end of March, but the watercooling and case mods will be done by LATEST the end of January. So, keep your eyes open, and thanks from Jamrock.

This 680i board isn't as friendly to RAM OCing like Gigabyte boards are (I miss mine already), but I did get something out of it.

10 ft should be a good guess for a starting build. i ordered that much originally and anm just now umpteen million changes later to about 3 ft left

i bought 50ft from good ol petrastech ...it was 50$ and its a different tube from all the tubes that i have...its uber cheap but its uber good...i don't have plasticizer yet..and its not that hard...i'll take a picture of it.
