Alright guys I am entertaining the idea of a bracket for the Iwaki pump.
What I want to know is how do you guys have the Iwaki mounted now and if you are planning on buying one how do you plan on mounting it?
Thanks for your feedback.

for me it would just be as it would sit on a table. im just tired of the noise it makes. i tried to iso/shockmount it but it still vibrates like crazy.

using some rubber gromets on both sides... then this 1/4 thick alum bar also has 2 more rubber gromets when mounting to case frame...
its pretty quiet for me.

I don't have one yet, but will in the next month.
Personally, I'd like flexibility. The bracket should keep the pump in the position best for longevity but allow you to attach it vertical or horizontal.

I made this vertical mount bracket for my RD30... it fits on a 140mm fan hole

Is it safe running the pump like that? I heard the pump won't last as long in that position.

We need to design a good vertical mount, that has a horizontal base.

Honestly, the answer is probably going to be to design a purpose-built reservoir too.

if you are worried about the pump life, you could just turn my vertical mount 90 degrees and put the pump inlet into the side of the res...

Tap tap the outlet, hook up a BP snake rotatie to do a nice 90-degree curve
