Beautiful.

I had a good laugh, when I took my laptop in after the display died, the guy was like "you do anything on this to stress out the graphics card?"

I told him "nope, most of the time its just sitting there with the display off crunching for WCG"

"Oh, well thatd do it for sure!"

Damn your LCD quit on your? That sucks man

WCG shouldn't do anything to stress your GPU, now the F@H GPU client is different, but you have to have a GPU that supports PhysX.

Hey guys, anyone know anything about GPUGRID (http://www.gpugrid.net/join.php)? Saw this today, as soon as I get my main rig back up I think I'll give it a whirl...

Good solid smooth running project. Currently offers up to 60% credit bonus for quick return of work units.

List of usable cards is here;

http://www.gpugrid.net/forum_thread.php?id=867

You can still crunch other boinc projects on the cpu and get "big" credit from your GPU:D

Linux friendly, uses only 6.4.5 or higher Boinc client and requires 177.67 or higher drivers.

NVIDIA only:duece:

Come get sum:D

Yeah I got my cards running this for a while, and they made the most god awful high pitched squealing noise, so I turned it off lol.

Though if WCG could get their projects to utilize the GPU, I would be all over that, squeal or not.

When the bitch squeals, you know that you are doing her some good:D

hahaha, well both are EVGA cards, and both are under water. If they die, it wouldn't be a problem except I'm missing one of the original heatsinks. So i'm kinda screwed there.
