I think they're supposed to be sending Gary some more products very soon. In fact, I think they have a shipment of stuff they're supposed to ship to him sometime this week.

LOL glad I could help...get you in trouble! hehe
I've been holding back on getting one, and then there was a global shortage of them when I wanted one. lol

From the tests I see, i could very well get better temps, or not, but every situation is different and I wanted to try it myself. If it works better than my k350, I'll drop it off to have it black chromed. if it don't I'm one step closer to a second waterooled cruncher.

Plus it flows better than my k350.

Yes!

I am currently fondling and admiring my heatkiller.
Some damned chunk of copper this thing is.

We will soon see if it can dethrone the mighty hockey puck this evening.

Thanks Gary!

There are no shavings inside it. It's immaculate inside.
perhaps long hours at watercool, and one or two can slip through like that.
happens to the best of us. mine is perfect.

I am amazed at the quality of this thing. I mean the k350 can not touch this block in terms of quality. There is just no freaking way. It's like a piece of jewelry. Like comparing a timex to a rolex.

I look at this thing and it's so purdy, I really hope it works better than the k350. It looks so good it has to work better.

Of course none of that really means shit, but tomorrow we'll find out.

I have to hand it to them. All of their products are such high quality and while I am not a fan of copper, the block is amazing in person.
I can't wait to try it tomorrow. I just don't have it in me to do tonight.

I now understand why Heatkiller owners are so loyal to their blocks and willing to argue about them lol.

I am still unbiased, but man it's really nice.

I hope it works just as well as it looks.

You can't argue with the results. Oh wait, it's never in any of the comparisons.:p

I havent bothered yet.
I'll do it this afternoon, but I had a question for you.
You used the k350 backplate, right?

What did you use with the backplate to mount the hk?
I notice the hk is not as tall so I am going to have to do some fancy shit here. What did you do?

did you just use all the heatkiller screws in the k350 backplate?
You pulled the k350 studs out?

I did not buy the hk backplate since typically a backplate is a backplate.

Amazing what you can get with a clean block.;)
but when you think about it, the original temps I posted in my mora review
were damned good for a gunked up block.

*It's better than most blocks even when it's all messed up!

And BTW, the screen capture up there is what the HK has to beat.
I will make sure the room temps are the same and everything and we'll give it a go.
I want to be fair as possible. I am not a fan boy by any means.
I honestly hope the heatkiller can beat it. It would be a shame to have to drawer this one.

Worthy I look forward to your results.

Just posting to say that my stuff came in and a) Sidewinders is even more awesome in IN because it's near instant shipping

b) HOLY SHIT 1/2 3/4 BP COMPS ARE HUGE!!! I'm used to 1/2" DD barbs and tubing. These are a man's fittings! I will not be going back to the pansy shit my previous builds have been on. LOL.

And this Heatkiller is fucking awesome. I won't consider anything less from now on. Such a nice piece that will last, just buy a new mount kit for different builds.

Glad we could help you and I'm happy you like the block. Your order would have actually shipped faster if we had cut the tubing up a little quicker. We ran out of time on Friday.
Thanks for your support - G
