So I want to re tap the micro res I got the other day so it will fit a G1/4 fitting. Anyone know either what size it is so I can just order the fitting or what size the tap is so i can just tap it to fit a regular barb in it?

You'll have to tap the black plug to g1/4, IIRC...:D

Is that the size of the tap though? I have a tap kit but just unsure what size the tap itself is right.

First you drill an 11.8mm hole, then use a G1/4 tap...:D

Or you head on over to Petra's and buy one already done.. but who wants to buy from Petra?

I'd rather buy the tap & do it myself lol. If I was going to go that far to buy yet another one pre tapped I might as well just get a new V2 then eh? lol

So I used a 1/2"-20NF Tap & ran that through to open up the threads abit on the top of the res. I was able to fit a barb in it snugly. It won't be seeing pressure anyways as it's just a dump for one of my loops. If I decide to use it that is.

well sniper, if ever that be a permanent fix, you may want to use some clear epoxy just for that part.

I might as a precation coat it with some goop maybe but I can pretty much guarantee it won't leak. it is only dumping into it also so no pressure will be behind it really right.

It's always safe than sorry. You don't ever want a leak, trust me on this. It just one big freaking mess.
