Man, and I thought my ballistix tracers were expensive.
I really don't like where motherboard and RAM prices are going man.
I'm sure they're good, but still...

Ha, they cost about as much as 2 gigs of DDR2-800 cost me when I did my first build. ^^

I can remember when I paid more than 200 for 8 MEGS of ram back in the early 90s. 32 Megs of ram used to run you more than 1000. Prices went down when Windows 95 came out though.

I did see Nils (of murderbox in Germany) post a couple of pictures of a classified/dom gt build that is going on and it looks VERY nice.

yep, saw those pics too. Looking awesome!

Though I rhink with a MIPS block on them, they will look even better than with the standard heatsinks. :)

Red: Is the "no fucking copper" a reference, by any chance? -> (http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/showthread.php?t=573268)

oh god. Zipzoomfly is almost comparable to PPC. Ever since they changed their name from Googlegear to zipzoomfly. Everything went south for them. I bought memory from them in the past and the memory was shipped without the memory wrapped in bubble wrap and there was no packaging peanuts. Sure enough the memory was DOA. My experience has been horrible with them. Their prices are competitive. I've only given them one chance to burn me.

I swallowed hard when i seen your link BDW88. I bought the memory from corsair's store at full price. =(

Shit, I remember when my dad spent 800 bucks to upgrade me from tape drive to floppy drive on my commodore 64!!! I think I was around 8 or 9 dialing up bulletin boards on 300 baud. hehe
