Yea, it took me a few hours before i calmed down, I wasted about 5 hours friday night testing every possibility, I really wanted to keep it but it just wouldn't kick. What a sweet looking board, So if anyone gets Classified certified #153, then you got a refurb,....
Hopefully it will be here by the weekend and the Egg doesn't send it to me by the slow boat!

Mines #143 ... and I won't be able to do any testing with it until the other parts arrive.
So lets hope the "FF" DOA disease isn't contagious from #153 ! ;)

na, it jsut pisses me off that you pay so much, then i open the board and see a cert that says "hand tested" then get what i got, and it looks like it's happining to a few people,
it was jsut a waste of time, and i was so excited to get that board rolling, it was gonna be my Igloo's last hurah for the winter, but now i wait for new egg to send me another, but it's such a sweet looking board and i am loving what i hear about the PWM ,that i still want it bad!!!!!!
So it was more frustration and also i want poeple that know that they do have an "FF" issue... prob no a big percentage but still an issue..
argggggggggg i feel my blood pressure going up,,,, must not think about it, must burn a fatty, must ahhhhhhhhhhhhm yea, i need to see some bling :crack:

Is it possible to get 12V from the 2-pin header on the eVGA Classified??

The Stock N/B heatsink's LED is powered by the 2-pin header. It would be great if your LED shared the same 2-pin conector as the stock heatsink.

I know exactly what you are talking about. To get the best out of this board we are going to have to put it under water. My 920 C0 does 4.2@1.36v (HT disabled) and the volts required to keep my mem chuggin' along at DDR3-2000heat the mosfets and NB up real quick. Airflow is decent in my case but anything above stock clocks ain't safe for 24/7 usage.
I may be dreamin' but I am looking for 4.6GHz plus with a i7 950 D0 24/7 clocks as soon as I can get my hands on one.

Last word I heard from Red was on the other classified waterblock thread and it was that his work has been in the way of gettin those blocks installed posting more pics and stating his experiences and how it performs. He hasn't replied on the other thread either or my PM. We gotta be Patient. ;)
That's not mesh, it's a thermal pad to be cut and applied to 4 locations on the motherboard.
Working on mounting it tonight, remember I work all day...
