I got asked by my boss at work to find a PCI-E sound card which have RCA input and output, not 3.5mm. This is to be used for digital recording via a digital mixer hence the RCA ports.
Currently, we are using a card similar to this in our current digital recording computers fleet : http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Audiophile2496.html

You can try the Asus Xonar HDAV1.3 Deluxe (http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=25&l2=150&l3=0&l4=0&model=2385&modelmenu=1)
Darn, I think input is still 3.5mm

Good catch, I'll check with my colleague who specialize in A/V. Actually, only 3 out of 4 is used and the Xonar HDAV1.3 vanilla might be ok.

I checked with my colleague and it's no go. It require a L/R input plugs and a single output plug at least while the Xonar HDAV1.3 have 2 output ports and single input.
Need other options.

No because it require a excellent sound quality. We are talking courtroom digital recording of the talks and we use a Digitool mixer connected to the mics, hence the special connections requirements.
If nothing can be found, I'll just go bother the guy who picked the parts a few years ago when the project started.

Close but not what we need. Remember that it's primarily a sound acquisition card with stereo inputs and a single output (this will serve as feedback for the mixer).

Thank you BD, that's precisely what we want. I don't care about the budget, they have the money and if this is working great for them, we may be in for a order of 440 cards which should give a great discount.
