Headphone pad mods

Ok...so apparently (big surprise), I'm a huge pussy. I have a new pair of Grado SR-80i's that I got on clearance for my ipod (I know...got way to many cans!). These absolutely kill my ears, as in the pads make my ears really fucking hurt after about 20 minutes. I've done all of the normal things like stretching the headband, etc...nothing seems to work. I believe these are the "S-Cush" pads. I've never had trouble before with any set of phones, but these are brutal. Can anyone recommend a mod or replacement pads that are more comfy?

Basically the only other choice is the Sennheiser HD414 pads (yellow color) that some prefer. Really though....welcome to grado. They will never be "comfortable". You just gotta suck up the pain really for the sound. I even have the HF2s which have the larger pads (L?...not the bowls) and they have some slight discomfort.
