ROLMAO, this block looks like a EK HF. Woot, and only 5 USD more for a nickel plated version. Sounds like a great deal on substandard plating!

Now that has to be the cheapest and ugliest looking shit out there. Reminiscent of the BlackDong.

And I thought the raystorm was a PoS. This one takes the cake and it's more expensive to boot.

The Raystorm is a POS!
On a 980X running at 4.2 / 1.35V I'm getting temps about 1.5°C WARMER than a fFUFUFUFUFUFUFU 360.
At least the 360 has a hold down plate that stays true. The Raystorm bows more than an ugly stick with a 8# trout hooked. Not to mention it feels cheap.
This block doesn't look bad but the fact that it's DD turns me off.
I bought some DD dreamflex red (orange) hose that's so much of a joke I would not use it to beat Saddam's corpse with. The cheap ass clamps and cutter that's included was like I cut my balls off and jumped in a brine pool.
:bird: DD
Their next GPU full cover block will probably look like a vagina, next.

Well, the fucking FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU block does not have a bad mounting system, too bad the block is cheaply made.

Uh just realized the block I have is a 370 not a 360.
Either way it's a brass/cu clinker.
Really it wouldn't be bad if the plating was better on the coldplate.
IME EK has the best mounting system. Just don't get anything plated from them.

The microfins on the base plate are very fine, it would difficult to plate well.
I own both blocks, I like the FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU mount system better.

If KL made the 370 purely out of copper and did not plate it they would have a killer block.

Looks like they hand-etched the writing into the top of the block...:rofl:
I wonder why DD spends their time making anything anymore. 10 years ago, sure... blocks that looked handmade were awesome and the art (I daresay it has turned into such) of watercooling was new and interesting. Anymore it has become so refined, why would they even try?

that is a sample that was sent out before they went retail . . .so the person who put it on E-bay is doing the same thing as someone who sells an ES Intel proc on E-day - assuming Danger Den articulated the block for for testing and not to be resold. Danger Den folks pretty much do not tell me much anymore unless I need something designed or cut - heck I never even got one of these prototypes myself. If I did I would hook up a test bench and get some independent numbers with the limited ability I have - would have to ask help from you guys to know what to test for and how to do it

Yes quite a product in the rough. I don't even have to stare with my hungover eyes to see the lack of precision in where they drilled the holes for the screws. Those plates look like they were recycled from Tuniq tower bases.
I see they love it over on XS even one person mentioning to see if it performs as good as the Raystorm. Hmmm if you place the bar that low.
The Raystorm does not feel like an unpolished piece of shit, it just feels like a piece of shit. I have one in my wife's machine and on the next teardown it's coming out and I'm going to attach a piece of tannerite on the bottom and attach it to a ground hog stake for proper treatment.downrange. ;)
