is there any physical difference between the different EVGa 285s? or are they simply overclocked?

higher the rank, higher the chances are of getting a higher binned card that will overclock better. I know a guy who got a card that would OC to whatever EVGA's max clock was for both clock and ram speed. was insane.

Be careful of ASUS cards and some others, they are not reference designs, ie. waterblocks might not fit...

yes, asus don't use reference design, kinda hard to water cool with standard blocks...
agreed with evga, higher priced, hopefully higher binned too...
