Need Help downloading SWTOR!

Ok, I need some help from the gaming community here. As some of you may know, I am living/working in Afghanistan right now and the Internet is total shit here. What makes it worse is that I have to "compete" for bandwidth against other users on my network.

I am really wanting to play SWTOR and am really close to finishing my download. Only my download speed is currently at a paltry 9KB/s, yes thats right, 9KB/s.... Not MB... KB!

At this rate I should be able to play in about 3 years...

The interesting thing is that I know, from experience, that the pipes here are pretty big so I "can" get decent speeds with a download manager like Getright. Essentially by splitting the download up into multiple threads allows me to increase my bandwidth by a factor of 10! Insane!

Only problem is that there is no direct download for the SWTOR patches. Anyone have any ideas on how to assist me in downloading all the remaining patches?

I am currently downloading the English Assets 1 and have 4.25 remaining. Would a file comparison of the folder identify the files I still need to download?

Would anyone be willing to upload the remainder of the files I need to a location I could download them from?

I am not sure which files I need though. I am going to include a list of the files in each directory. I will also include the code you can use to make the batch script to see what files are in your directory as well. Just identify which files go where and I will download the ones I need!

First here is the code you need to enable the print directory functionality within windows 7:

Create The Printdir Batch File
Open Notepad by clicking on Start \ Run and enter notepad in the Run dialog box and click OK.
Copy and paste the following text into Notepad:

Close Notepad and click Yes to save the changes.

Ok, so I'm going to speed things up a bit and say that no one has to upload anything for me!

Apparently the logs will show the download location for all the "problem" files.

I can simply download all the files from their server individually!

http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/assets_swtor_en_us/assets_swtor_en_us_-1to0.solidpkg

is an example of one such file.

The ONLY thing I need is to know what files I need to download now. My guess is it will be everything in the patch folders. On that note I will skip ahead and include only the patch folder files...

Again I figure if there are any differences i our file structures it will be in either the patcher_1to23 folder or the assets_swtor_en_us_-1to0 folder as these appear to hold the larger files.

With the filenames in hand I should be able to download everything I need! Woot!

Ok, so lots of posts by me and here I find my own solution, woot!

It would appear that others have been having issues with constantly having to re-download the game due to corruption issues caused by faulty RAM modules (Go OEM!)

Essentially it has the list of files the launcher uses to build/patch the game.

I noticed that my installer must have unpacked the main 1 section already since my Assets folder is populated while there is no assets_swtor_main_-1to0 folder.

I am currently downloading the remainder of the files needed for the install. If this works I will share my findings.

Oh and all the motherfuckers on my network just got a lesson on how to :htfu: as I just stole 90% of their bandwidth using Getright! Woot! SUCK IT BITCHES!!!! :bird:

Fucking origin is so fucked. It still doesn't deter me from spending $$$ with them tho. This is a big fucking game ~25GB. Can't wait to be done dling it myself.
