I tried it and it gives this message: [21:45:28] Folding@home Core Shutdown: UNSTABLE_MACHINE
If there are any tricks to get around this I'd love to know what they are, because at this point the 9800 GT is about to be sold.

I posted there. Thanks Fits. Hopefully someone can help (as I'm not the only one having this problem! Guys on HardwareCanucks, including the one who sold me the 9800GT, as well as on OCN are all having this issue so far)

Cool. Hopefully I can work this out!
I already got a unisink and core block for this card and I'd like to run it as planned!
Thanks again.

Did not solve it.
Sold the card. If there is a solution, I'd pick up another card.
But from what I've heard, there isn't a fix.

I had a 9800GX2 and a 8800GTS 320 combined and never had a problem. All I had to do was reconfigure my clients and select a different WU size. Normally an UNSTABLE_MACHINE error comes up when your GPU does not like that particular WU.

Yeah, but it is a known issue with G92 to GT200, not G80-G92, which is essentially a die shrink.
