Uhh, they're certainly interesting. Glad to see somebody's trying something new, albeit simply aesthetics.

That looks like DD "dreamflex" "red" tubing. Looks halloween orange just like the shit I have. (well it went to the trash bin)
Ugh on compressions. Yeah I bet they are real secure. I don't trust (compressions) as far as I can throw them. Actually I can throw them pretty far so if that were the case they would work well which they don't. (they are OK but I can sleep better with proper clamps) ;)

Just to bad they cost the same as bitspower in EU, else i would try one or two :)

Over engineered, under utilized bulky looking pieces of shit IMO. Might as well use soup cans as fittings, they'd look better:down:

If you do be sure to triple rinse with distilled as the byproducts of Campbell's is detrimental to Eddy's nickel plating. :D

No no no no... He's already made a judgment about them -- He usually puts all his hardware posts in the Hardware pr0n thread...
lol some one here I'm sure if they felt like it could turn some of these out in an hour or less. Its just a new collar. And its aluminum so its really cheep. Lets see some of these type of things that fit a BP 1/2 3/4 fitting and in brass or copper.

Perhaps they should screw a stick into it and sell them as honey wands? What a terrible design and inefficient use of material!

Waste of material. WAY too bulky and the o rings on the outside looks stupid.

Fuck, those are ugliest fittings I have ever seen. They look like they belong where the sun don't shine.

No the fittings don't fail but a hose can get pulled out or slide/leak under pressure. On one build I'm required to pressure test to 50psi for 24 hours. I did not trust the fittings to hold that much. There's just not enough positive reassurance to be 100% sure to me.
Yeah I'm stubborn and have the "it should hold if hit with a hammer" attitude. :D

the kurling on the base of the fitting allows you to grasp it when you remove the tubing - it is not just to tighten the fitting. The problem with Primochill fittings is they allow you to tighten via the slot in the top but you are screwed when you change your loop.

Normally you can resolve this with just holding on to the tubing.... Used some "hidden" compression fittings before i got my 4 round of bitspower fittings...
And 1 or 2 times they were so tight that they started to unscrew from the waterblocks, but then i just grabbed onto the tubing and hold it tight, then the problem was solved....

I solve the problem by not using any type compression fittings. Way over rated and a pain in the ass to use IMO.
I never have gotten the allure. Any of the 1/2-3/4 comps always look way to bulky for me. Correctly used wire ties are infinitely better looking IMO, and all I use.

its all a matter of your personal tastes. when are you building for someone other than yourself I think compression is a better choice (GOOD compressions) . . safer

Compressions will never be safer than a proper clamp! Worm gear clamps FTW!
So what the machine looks like a dishwasher but it stays dry no matter how bad the weather gets! :D
