G300, and nobody knows, cause they just made a complete fuckery of their attempted move to 45nm.

There is supposed to be a GT212 which could just be a move to GDDR5, but again, there are only rumours with nothing substantial.

Exactly, nothing substantial, and my contact is saying it's worse than PR says.
ATi should drop in and rape the 285 with their new 4 series cards for less money, and right now nVidia has little to do about it-the bins aren't high enough for a new SKU above the 285, the memory controller would have to be rebuilt for a move to GDDR5 (hence 212, but that's not a new top end SKU) and while it tears up on benches, their performance in games is still dead even with ATi AT THIS POINT unless nVidia basically bought the game.
nVidia has a hell of a lot of work ahead of them. 2 4870x2s will tear ass on 2 295s at high resolution (more memory available for one) WITHOUT the sideport that enables much higher bandwidth between GPUs. It's getting grim-rebranding everywhere, and the "underdog" more than capable of competing.
Yay, we all win-two strong video card companies drive innovation and keep prices low. So please, nVidia, come up with something good for G300.

Without one, we wouldn't have the other.
