Any quick details on what they've revised in the design?
A quick glance at the spec sheets reveals that it has yet to be updated...

They made a vertical barb directly into the inlet without the 90° turn as with the old stock top.
Basically like an EK aftermarket top now.

yah now if only theyd make those barbs 1/2" instead of 3/8"

FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU 400s are the 3.25s. Anyone lucky enough to own one, rejoice! lol

The current 400's spec'd out over at PPC's are pretty much the same as the ST 355:shrug:.
So is this version of the 400 a new release that hasn't hit the US market yet? Becuase KL's own site shows the same specs as the 355.

On the FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU site the head is listed at 19.5' based on Dean's measurement. These don't have the nice feet on them that the 3.2 have. Mounting would be a bit of a PITA

On the FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU site the head is listed at 19.5' based on Dean's measurement.
Nominal voltage 12 V DC
Operating voltage range 8 to 13.2 VDC
Minimum starting Voltage 9 VDC
Nominal power (@ 12 V) 18 W
Nominal current (@ 12 V) 1.46 amps
Nominal head (@ 12 V) 20.2 ft (6.1 m)
Nominal discharge (@ 12 V) ~ 120 GPH (454 LPH)
Connection size 3/8" barbs (10mm)
Maximum pressure 22 PSI (1.5 BAR)
Temperature range Up to 140°F (60°C)
Electrical connector Molex 4 pin
Weight 7.3 oz (207 gr.)
Our noise measurement (non lab environment) 30 ~ 32 dBA in a quiet room @ 2'
Motor type Electronically commutated, brushless DC, spherical motor
Pump MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) 50,000 Hours
RPM Sensor 3 pin connector
seems to be the same as ST's 355.

I was under the impression that the 3.2 head was something like 16'
So either we're getting our info from different sites, or something's off here
Here's what I got from FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU.com

I thought the big change was the center suction? At least to me that is an improvement.
I guess there are several versions then. Maybe just the electronics or impeller changed.

Weird, that was a copy and paste str8 from the 355 page at P-PC's, and Dean just had them updaet KL's spec's from the old. Someone else was saying that P-PC's didn't update the specs for the 355 from back when it was the old 3.2 model.

I've got two of the Swiftechs at home. If the FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU ones really are that much better, then I'd grab two of them for my CPU loop and keep the Swiftechs for the GPUs and the chipset.
The thing about the FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU is, it doesn't have the ease of mounting of the DDC.
I'm getting lazy :D

Where the FUCK are the mounting feet??
If you tape it down then you'll fry the pump...:flame:
Not an intelligent design decision...:shake:

it has two screw holes on the bottom for mounting

Fuck a bunch of mounting feet, I'm glad they're gone. Saves me the trouble of chopping them off.

Just took a look at one. Swiftech covers up the stock sticker with their own.
part # 71730
mfr: 02/09
volts 12
amps 1.5
It will be up to swiftech, eventually they will get them I'm sure.
