Hey guys, here is nVidia's newest offering.
GTX580 Classified (http://www.evga.com/articles/00645/#aircooled).

Anybody know if the reference design water blocks will fit this thing?

I doubt it, especially when evga is comparing "reference" to "classified" in their graphs

Just an update.

I am going to get another GTX580 instead of the GTX590. I was going with the 590 originally because I was under the impression that a reference design FC block isnt going to work with the 580 3GB flavor, and that there wasnt FC blocks for it.

I posted in EVGA's forum and a product manager said the are the same other than the ram chips are higher density.

Sweet. That was the only thing holding me up.

No, it's a completely different design.

Are we talking the Classified 3GB or all EVGA GTX580 3GB cards? I was refering to the Jane GTX580 3GB vs Jane GTX580 1536MB this time around. Sorry for the confusion.

EVGA product manager EVGA_JacobF confirmed the are same PCB and are both reference design in this post of mine. EVGA GTX580 3GB Reference design PCB? (http://www.evga.com/forums/fb.ashx?m=1312637)

So I hope he is correct because I am going to order another HeatKiller GPU-X3 from Gary to cover it. These blocks performed stellar for me, so I see no reason to go to another.

SO, you'll have dual 580's? Awesome!

Unfortunately, no. I am only getting one at this point. I already had my way with a pair of the 1536MB variety. See this post (http://www.realredraider.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=39543).

I am going with a single 3GB card for now and when the new 6XX (or whatever) series comes out, I will likely get a pair of them. I just hope the 3GB card isnt as gimped as some reports indicate in its overclocking potential.

Roger that... I still haven't a clue on what I'm going to do with Video right now, I'm going to wait for MW3 benches to make a decision.
