Hey All,
I was not sure where to post this, so I thought General Hardware would be my best bet.OK, so I finished leak testing, all is good there. When I go
to start my system, the PSU fan kicks over,I get a wink of power, like 2 tenths
of a second, then the PSU shuts down.My first thought is the 24 pin connector,
or possibly a short, some where in my system.I will start by testing my PSU later today as I have a PSU tester. The PSU itself is a Corsair 1200 Gold Pro.
Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

You have another PSU you can test the system with, that's where I'd start as well. The classified lets you disable PCIe slots I think, so you could try disabling your second video card as well.

Also, check all of your PSU connections on the motherboard. I had something similar happen and the damn 24 pin plug was not in all the way. Push hard and wiggle all of the connectors as a first try.

remove all the psu connections to the mobo and video cards, but leave a fan or led or something hooked up. Then short the 24 pin on the psu and see if it powers that fan/led/etc.

edit: whoops, or use the psu tester!

Hey All
Great Advice.so I tested my PSU independently, then I started hooking up my system, testing, as I went.My problem lay the way I wired my fan fan controllers up.
problem solved, I split my fan controllers and all is a go.
Thanx again Fellas.
