Hey guys, looking for a good 5-6 chn fan controller, quality:good price. Nothing too extravagant.

I have an Akasa Four Channel Fan Control Pro - AK-FC-03, and really like the form factor. It takes up very little room and fits very nicely in front of a 140.3 rad in the top of a 932. My only problem with it is the rheostats feel cheap and almost 'notchy' when adjusting speeds, and I am wondering how long until something goes. Other than that, it is perfect and loaded with lots of features for such a small unit. Price was range was right also.

Another reason I would like to go with a different controller is I have 5 fans and I am currently using a 4 chn controller. It is working fine, but why not do it proper without spending a shitload? And, I need another for my son's PC anyways. Mine will work fine for his.

Anyways, I am looking at one of these from Gary. Hopefully I can make it fit:

Any suggestions without breaking the bank?

Why not just make some channel splitters? If you have a bunch of fans on separate channels, but running at the same rpm it'd be more efficient to just put them all on one channel. I have the parts #'s if you want to make your own.

As for a fan controller, lamptron's offerings have high wattage/channel.
