Is there any way to piggy back "computers" and have them all seen as a single PC? Like if I got 5 motherboards, 20 processors, lots of ram, and a graphics card for at least one of them, would it be possible to link all of them together so they were viewed as a single computer?
I'd like to know this as well. :)

I think this is called making "nodes". Need special software that cost shit N bricks. I think you can set up computers to do independant task for 3d Rendering, but I'm not sure if that comes with the programs. I think there is a special version of 3DstudioMax that will let you breakup tasks to >1 computers.

Edit: LoL, damn it Kayin. ;) :coke::coke:

Yah you can with Max, but not lightwave and several others, max uses BackBurner to assign tasks to other computers, the catch being you have to have a license for backburner AND a license for each computer it runs on.
