1. I have 8 scythe fans here for my BIX rads. I need to combined/extend wires to the Aquaero and eventually Rub's mosfet power booster.

What's the best way to combined wires? Bring all red/black wires to a point and solder one big ass wire to the power socekt?

Like that?

How many fans/amps can you put through the fan wires? How many amps do you thing I could put through a 3-pin fan plug? Or should I do 4pin molex?

You guys got any pictures of your fan wire harness/loom thingys?

Very helpful page:
http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm

I believe it qualifies for AC and DC.
Check the side of the wires on your fans, they are most likely 24-28 AWG and they should at least list a maximum voltage.
One of our Delta EFB0612LAs listed 300 V and Thai Wonderful as the supplier

Thanks Sidewinder. The fan wires were 24 gauge but the 2pin extenders were 28 Argh!

Smee, Do you use fan gasket? Think it's needed? I don't have 4 120mm gasket for rad, but I did go out and buy WIndow/door strip foam with sticky backing.... but now I don't want to put it on.

I didn't in that picture, but I plan to do it with the final outcome of the build.
I recommend you do as well, to get the full amount of airflow.

I'm assuming you use it between rad and fan...

But I've been thinking, what about between fan and case?

I'll be doing both. Lol...
You want cold air from outside, not warm air from the inside of the case.

*thinks back* thats about the time I did mine I think. EFF IT, its still an awesome way to do it. Did you solder yours, or just tape them?
