Sounds like a win to me, except for the fact that you can't run two of them in SLI.

Just saw this too... Totally badass for a one card system... Wonder who's going to come out with a water block?
It's EVGA, they'll probably release a Swiftech-made Hydro Copper block.

shit this thing is long. are those 120mm fans? wonder actual length. also just posted this at evga: "I'm a little confused. Will you be able to run 4 monitors in 2D with the desktop on one and a game on the other three? Article says disable surround to allow four monitors, but are they talking just 3d? This looks like a great card for my p55 board "

got a reply,
I'm a little confused. Will you be able to run 4 monitors in 2D with the desktop on one and a game on the other three? Article says disable surround to allow four monitors, but are they talking just 3d? This looks like a great card for my p55 board
You can run 4 monitors outside of NV surround, or 3 monitors while in surround.
doesn't answer much for me since I'm a noob with multi monitor setups, will I be able to run a custom resolution in games to span more than one monitor with 4 hooked up or not? my extent with multi monitors is two, and all I did was extend the desktop so my son could watch netflix on the big screen while I gamed at my desk. Getting the sound output correctly was the hardest part of the whole thing.
also was stated the card is 11.5 inch long if anyone is wondering like i was

Just a question, but why would they make that card with the 460 chip rather than the new 560 chip? Isnt that a step backwards?
Sounds like a cool card. I wish it was out for this last dual 560Ti build. Might have tried one.

I think it should be 560's imo. But there a step behind:rofl: And they should price it at the same price of 2 460's if not its useless.Thinking itll be around 400$

This is good strategy by EVGA depending on the price. If it is below a 580 in price then it should be a big hit.

yeah I just saw the price difference. ACTUALLY the galaxy one may perform a tad better due to the better latency of the PLX bridge instead of the NF200. there is a shortage in nf200's right now thats the main reason galaxy used the PLX chip but WTF were they thinking using WHITE?!?!? what color scheme is that supposed to match?? plus white pcb's turn yellow over time
