Sound card advice.....

Looking to possibly update my old audigy 2z sound card in my machine. I have an opportunity to get a Creative SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional card for $85.

Has anyone else had this card and if so how did it perform with Windows 7 64 bit? Creative still have issues with their drivers? Known bugs or issues?

I cannot say if creative has fixed their driver issues, but I would recommend looking at some of the Asus Xonar cards. I know the DX is a very good 7.1 sound card and can be had for around $60 I think.

last I knew creative fixed them. my x-fi worked on win7 64 just a couple months ago with their drivers

Believe me I'd like to get that asus xonar hdav 1.3 but reality is because of cs and alimony my budget doesn't allow for that.

Is there a better card that can be had for around $75-85?

If not ill just wait and due without bnecause the audigy 2 zs is working fine for me.
