So single and dual core processors at 1.5~1.6ghz is AMD's response to Intel's old lineup of old chips that Intel is upgrading to with their new mobile chips? Or is it to respond to the new stuff comeing out?
I mean I have an old atom n510 or some shit, very much the same netbox that Floyd has, and it's a dual core 1.6ghz with hyper threading and plays my netflix with WCG going just fine.

Finally a greater choice of Mini-ITX motherboards. Can't wait for the price wars to start :)

I have a 330 Atom in my netbox NAS. 1.6ghz of raw horsepower!
Handles freeNAS just great and its so small that I attach it to the VESA mount on the back of my LCD. MUCH better than the mid tower build that I had.

Did somebody say Bobcat?

I've been eyeballing the Fusion chips for a while now, but I'm still skeptical since my recent luck with AMD has been :turd:.

Scraps, this is AMDs answer to the Atom/ION combo. Supposedly they're also coming out with some higher powered stuff soon too. We'll see.

This is aimed at the lower power/embedded market. Llano comes later in the year which will be something like an athlon x4/phenom 2 x4 + a 480SP DX11 part on 32nm. Then Bulldozer at the top but it's not an APU...yet.

On a side note. I can think of 100's of uses for these. I think I build two rigs around this. Firewall using Ubuntu Server, and potentially a NAS box or a router.
