Going to pick up my Cosmos S in a few mins....
Will the rad fit in the top without any mod?
If I need to cut thats no biggie, what I would like to know if there is a template out there I could DL and print to make my life easier.
My PA120.3 is currently mounted in my old case and I dont want to rip the loop apart untill I'm ready to assemble into the new case.

I know its not a Mountain Mods so refrain from the flame:D
given the popularity of the rad I can only hope someone has a template fro cutting.

A.C. Ryan has the template, but the Cosmos has 3x120 in the top, HWL or Swiftech spaced. You'll get no love for the PA, and you might actually have to start cutting into the metal of the case. (Structural metal, I mean.)

Thanks

I see the top is a "honeycomb" type where the fans mount.
Should I dremel this out to reduce noise, or do you think it will make much difference
I am going for MAX silence as this rig will sit in my bedroom.

I know this is a Cosmos 1000 and i used a Black Ice spacing grill but the same principal could be used for a Thermochill rad using the appropriate grill

Basically just marked the top using one of our Honey Comb Grills (http://www.coolercases.co.uk/acatalog/Grills.html) but due to the side bezels on the Cosmos it had to be shaved a little so they still fitted on.

So when everything was marked up just cut two small slivers off the grill and opened a 360 size hole in the top of the case.

Quick deburr with a file and test fitted the HWLabs X-Flow rad using button head screws.

The grill with be riveted into place then the rad removed and the top of the case masked and the whole lot painted matt black.

Job done and off to Beast for a system fitted :thumb:

btw, the blue you can see inside the grill is the blue backing to the foam tape which will be removed on the final assembly so will look much cleaner.
