He did a beautiful job... but why he lit it with Green?!? LED's is a mystery, the lighting effects should have come from old bulbs, Nixies, and Vaccume tubes.

I think the mod is absolutely fantastic - brilliant even... and I LOVE steam punk.
THAT SAID... he looses A LOT of points on my chart because (it looks like) many of those parts don't do anything... If he is to earn full points every part must serve a purpose, but I'm anal like that.


I'd love to have one of those centripetal whirly gigs (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3300/3275635903_28378c4dda_b.jpg) he has on his side table.

That's a damn good point about the LEDs, I didn't think of that. But, yeah, old bulbs and stuff (big time with the vacuum tube) would have been absolutely amazing.

Yeah, lol, I had to do a double take when I saw that lamp. Too much!

Steam powered pumps!
I'd like to see:
steam turbine-propeller driven centrifugal pumps... run by an actual steam boiler... complete with gas burner (you could even tap it into your homes natural gas line).

That would be steam punk.

(and it needs a steering wheel (http://www.realredraider.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=3649) as well, of course)
