Can anyone tell me if the 890gx boards are any good. And which one would put out he most performance for gaming

The Asus M4A89GTD Pro seems like a pretty good board, it should play nicely with 2000mhz ram clocks assuming you've got a Thuban.

I've got the MSI 890gx but it's mATX and in a secondary machine. No complaints but youre probably looking for something with a bit more oomph.

I've actually heard nothing but good things about their amd deluxe4 boards both from user and official reviews.

Asrock is usually regarded as a lower tier brand but they seem to be making quality boards and strides towards more recognition. I would no doubt try them out, they carved a nice niche for themselves.
