Hey guys,
So I have some money to burn a tiny bit for computer stuff, so I figured why not look at a new case. At the moment I have the Antec 1200 which is great and all. I can easily fit a 120.3 in the front bays using rad brackets, but overall the case is lacking I think.
Anyways, I'm looking for some nice suggestions. I was waiting for news on the TJ11 (http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/3487/tj113404.jpg) but after seeing new renderings of the product, it looks like ass imo :puke:.
Full or Middy doesn't REALLY matter, but after using full towers I'm very partial to it. Other requirements is that I'd love something really H2O friendly to finally get this build off the ground like I want to :D (I have a 360 already so having it fit that with room for more would be great!)
I've done some research and have some ones that come to mind.
LiLi A77F- Looks nice. 360 right in front bays, maybe get something in the top
TJ-07- oldie but a goodie
Corsair 700/800D-builds look nice with it, but I'm not sure how it ranks up
Edit*- I guess the MM towers?! But I know theres been some issues around that corner of the world...just came to mind is all :D
There's plenty of others that come to mind, but let me know what u pros think ;)
Also, as a side note, I'll be getting a new storage drive. I was probably gonna get a 2TB just so its convenient (1 drive now vs 2 1TB later). I've seen great results from the Samsung F4 2TB even though its 5400rpm. It'll be mainly used for Movies/shows, FLAC music, maybe some "other" programs that I dont access all the time and will be uploading/downloading to the server. If you have any suggestions here that would be great!
Thanks again guys,
Silver

Have you considered the CoolerMaster ATCS 840? (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119187&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Cases+%28Computer+Cases+-+ATX+Form%29-_-Cooler+Master-_-11119187) It is similar to the LiLi but $150 less.
You can fit a 3 x 120 up top out of the box and an additional 2 x 120 with a little ChainSaw if you need to.
I really liked working with it and would probably get one for myself if my damn camera equipment would quit robbing me blind

I really like the good 'ol TJ-07. Can put a 120.4 and 120.2 in the lower part without any severe modding.

Or even two 120.4's down there with a little relocation of the PSU into the front. It's been done a few times, think there is even a worklog here somewhere of it done.

I don't know about the A77F, but I just took a quick look at my A77, and it looks like a 120.4 would fit in the front bays, although it wouldn't have much clearance, and there wouldn't be room for anything else in the 5.25" bays, which means you'd either have to forgo having an optical drive, or get creative and do something like a top-loading slot-load drive.... Come to think of it, that would look pretty sick....

Can't speak as to the cases... good luck! After hearing NG7 raving about the 840, I'm apt to look at that for my next case. TJ is nice but so many people use them; I guess there's a reason for that though. :crack:
For the hard drives - I've had VERY good luck with the Samsung F series and would highly recommend them over any other storage drive on the market.

Best I can tell between the A77 and the F is changing the stock cooling and instead of having the HD cages in the back over the mobo, they moved the mobo up to make extra room. Supposedly a rad still fits in the top though.
and thx for the feedback guys. Keep it coming :crack:
And Jaco for the HD comment ;)

ATCS 840 hands down. For the money and what you get, it can't be beat. I'm serious. Once you get your hands on it you'll start saying, this case is unbelieveable...

I can attest to the Samsung spinpoint f-1's. I am running several without failure yet and the uptime has been the better part of 24/7 for over a year now. I have the 500g, 1t, and 1.5t variants and all are stable.
As for cases for liquid cooling, I have yet to use liquid cooling but the case I have is a silverstone "raven" and it came with ports for tubing and such. I've only ever seen one that was liquid cooled and it was ok but I'm not the one to ask as I lack experience.
G/l on the new build. Post pics so we can see what you ended up with!

I know we've already talked about this on Xfire, but I figured I should throw this up for anyone else reading this thread....
I've got an A77B, and best I can tell, the difference between the A77 and the A77F is that they moved the motherboard tray up (cut the distance between the top of the motherboard and the top of the case roughly in half) which is probably a good thing (more room at the bottom for tall boards like the 4-way Classified), and they also changed the way you mount PSU's -- A77 used the old Lian-Li modular PSU brackets that mounted to the PSU and then to the back of the case (case had a square hole with threaded holes for thumbscrews through the PSU mounting plate). A77F just has the one PSU mounting position at the bottom (A77 can mount one in the top too, just as it can mount a HDD cage in the same space), and it's just one hole for the back of the PSU, with three sets of mounting holes. Also, the A77F has dual 140mm fans in the ceiling whereas the A77 has a solid top.
On the whole, the A77F looks somewhat cheaper and less modular, but better for WC; On the A77, the cage in the back that the HDD cage can mount to can make mounting a large radiator a real PITA.
Also, looking at my A77, I'd say that you can put a 120.4 in the front, but it would take up all the bays; If one were to do this, they'd have to either forgo an optical drive, or come up with a novel solution to the problem (probably a slim slot-loading drive mounted to the back-side of the 5.25" stack and either front or top loading).....
Overall, my opinion is that the due to the reconfiguration of the motherboard tray (moving it up a few inches) and the subsequent changes to the ceiling of the case, that it's somewhat superior to the older A77, but that 350 is a bit on the high side.

AS 800 (http://www.abee.co.jp/Product/CASE/AS_Enclosure/800/index.html)
Toss the four side fans. Put in triples. Sexy, sexy case. Pure aluminum.
