Hey, anyone here ever done the step up?

I was chatting with mcfree and he mentioned it so I checked it out. I am past the 90 days on the first 480 I bought, but still qualify with the 2nd one.

I ran throught the step up, and this is the final screen I got. Does this mean for 30 bucks + my 480, I get a 580?

I think it is bullshit that my other 480 doesnt qualify. Up until now, there wasnt a card to step up to other than a 295, but that isnt an option.

Pretty fucked up how they don't give you that $40 dollar difference back... But then again you are getting a better card for free... almost :hehe: Last I saw there were a few hundred people waiting for step up, so you will have a good wait AFAIK

I'm in no rush anyways, cuz I still gotta get another. Fucking piss me off! I just bought the 2nd 480 and 2 BP Black Freezers! I would have stuck it out until now with the GTX295 I have if I knew the 580 would be out this fast.

Shitty, still sitting at #780 on queue for step up. WTF?

Anybody receive a GTX580 thru the EVGA stepup prog? I applied on the 19th of November. You would think EVGA would treat long standing customers a little better.

They treat everyone equally as far as I've seen.

As I recall, I bought my 260 in the end of last April, and started the step-up to a 275 in mid-late June. Approval for the step-up didn't come until early August...
