This has been brought up over in the Heatkiller CPU r3.0 discussion, so I thought I'd start a dedicate thread.

Here is a link to the MO-RA 2 rad on Watercool's site:
Watercool MO-RA (http://server5.gs-shop.de/200/cgi-bin/shop.dll?&AnbieterID=3395&rndid=88942651&Seite=frameset.htm&bnr=10164&PKEY=EDB0)
Kataloge -> Wärmetauscher -> MO-RA 2

From gigantic scale and performance are our new MO-RA 2 radiators. The data speak for itself, over 24 m of copper pipe and 3.5 square meters per plate were MO-RA were used. The cooling water flowing in three parallel rows by 60 pipe. The blades of the MO-RAs are specially designed to optimize a passive use. Due to the huge surface of the radiator and the effective geometry are extremely good cooling guaranteed. The three parallel rows of tube circuitry provides, in spite of very large surface area, for a low flow resistance. Standardized G ¼ inch thread and multiple mounting holes or thread to make the installation a breeze. The surface of MO-RA is black powder coated. Our absolute top model of the MORA-2 radiators, the MO-RA 2 Pro, this has all the features of the Core version, plus a complete stainless steel housing.

Using a flexible modular system allows each his MO-RA adapt such As the PRO version with fan cover, everything fits together. The Core version must be slightly adjusted, before proceeding with the fan cover can be used. The fan shutter makes a MO-RA 2 a true Kühlkraftwerk, equipped with a maximum of 9 fans, this heat exchanger whole cluster and multiprocessor systems cool.

Technical data:
Material: Copper tubes, strips of aluminum, polished stainless steel enclosure
External dimensions (L x W x H): 428 x 388 x 57mm
Weight: Approx 2800g
Druckgetestet: 20 Bar
Finish: black
Connection: 2x G 1 / 4 inch

EDIT: Never mind. I should read more closely!

That thing is a monster, indeed.

I'd be interested to see how it would compare to 3 PA 120.3s

Great looking rad, but how is the middle row of pipes fed?

I'd like to give this one a shot myself.

This is just a cleaned up version of a transmission cooler isn't it? Look how compact those fins are. I imagine this thing would really kill some heat if you attached Delta's in push/pull.

They are currently working on the design of a new version of the Mo-Ra.
They had a poll in their forums to ask how people use their Mo-Ras and with what fan speeds etc.

There's no saying when the new version will be finalized (be warned, the HK 3.0 took them years to complete), but it's useful to know that they are working on it.

hmmm, I could so see building a computer around this rad, custom box, mount it into the wall so that it sucks the AC in through the opening in the wall and vents through walls to under the house then build up from it for the motherboard etc and top it all off with a nice 30" monitor that sits on the wall and run all the wires down to desk level so you never see anything but a monitor hanging on a wall and some cords...... thatd be sick.

A computer that requires mods to your house is a bit ixtreem for me, but i like your idea of a big flat rig.

Ballz0r your computer is near as big as a house anyway ;) lol but a sexy house none the less!
I wouldnt mind if they made a all low FPI version could be handy

I was thinking of doing a Pedestal with a custom bottom panel for 3 360 rads. This might do the trick down there, though.

Lots of pics of the radiator mounted can be found here:

Mine is mounted to the side of my Lian Li A16s side panel.

Also they're considering making the next revision 9x140mm compatible!

you know really, this is a great deal, you're basically getting 3x 3x120 rads for ~$175, thats barely over the price of a single Feser, and not even twice the cost of a HWL 3x120. Id really love to see some number for this beast as far as cooling performance and how much heat dissipation it can handle.

if only someone would make a decent 140mm fan :)

Hi Nickel! :)

Yeah, I'm hoping for the 9x140 thing as well. That would be awesome!
And, at least for the silent-PC-inclined, there are some pretty decent 140 fans out there.

That's a condenser-style radiator, which has already been shown to not be so great for WC applications I thought? Someone told me that once at least :)

Maybe MORA2 will be more like the radiators we use.

And hopefully a different name, pro football fans shudder at the thought of another "Mora":p

There was a sticky at XS for soem times that claimed that flow was very bad, but it was all theory and the guy never had a Mo-Ra afaik.

All the reviews done in Germany show that flow is worse than on a Thermochill, but not that bad, maybe better than two Thermochills in sequence. Water temperature is pretty good as the review shows.

While the design might not optimal, it more than makes up for that by sheer size.

They also make a normal triple radiator in that style and it performs on par with the Swiftechs, so it's not bad.

suggest good pump for this big radiator...

Shouldn't be a problem, I don't think it's terribly restrictive.

I would say it's about the same as having two normal rads in your loop.

suggest good pump for this big radiator...

this is not even a question, you know there is only one good pump available...
