On another forum a guy is selling this EVGA mobo for $150 shipped. Says he never used it and was going to do a build but never came to fruit. Claims to have installed it in the case and that is it.

So what do you think? I was going to pick up a Asus P6TD mobo, but for the price of this one I can hardly pass it up I think......
Update: PM'd him to ask whether or not he has removed the cpu cover (no) and to send actual pics of the board (hasn't emailed me yet)

What forum did you find this on? Looks to be a helluva deal for a nice mobo.

Fuck, after he sent pics turns out to be the EVGA x58 SLI LE (http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10010518&prodlist=froogle).... Still worth it? I am leaning towards sticking with my ASUS pick....

Is it a refurb. Those were going for like $90 straight from evga.

I have a pretty good phobia about used or second hand shit, I like me some warranties and return policies :crack:

150$ for that is a bit high IMHO. As Mikecdm said, Stock B of this motherboard sell for 90$ all the time.

Yeah $150 is WAY to much for the LE, especially a used LE.
Good choice on the pass

That being said, the LE is a beast... mine OC'd like a champ, it's great for a modest build.

Oh definitely, I'm not knocking the LE, but they can be had cheaper than $150 used.

yep I wouldnt have bought that board. I have a bad taste in my mouth from evga P55's but even so $150 for a used LE is to much, grab that asus board. you bclck may not go as hiigh but your oc will be easier to achieve and probably more stable

Thats cool, not going for record breaking OC's. Technically a stock i7 is probably overkill for what I do, so a stable 4ghz is really good for me :D
