Well, I've got a bit of an update on this design. I kinda was just putting pieces together today to get a visualization of how it would be. I have to say I am very impressed with how the top cap looks. Very simple yet appealing in my mind.
Now I do not have the cathodes in yet, and I do not have the correct polycarbonate piece on either. Those will be coming Monday.

Keep up the good work ;) Just food for thought have you ever considered using EL-Wire?

EL Wire where?
Gazmtk

where you have the cathodes, which would also allow for you to do more complex designs as Cathodes you can only get in round or straight ;)

True, id be worried about the water touching it though, I need to have the lights isolated.

thats the easy part 1/4 tubing over the top of the EL-Wire ;)
Im just throwing Ideas your way, hoping that one helps you out :)

Its a good possibility...I'll keep it in the back of my mind. Thanks!
However my next idea is going to take priority. It does not involve anything tubular though. Lets just say I think the Razer logo is gonna look pretty nice with coolant flowing through it.

Heres a bit of an update. Yeah, I realize it has bubbles in it...but it is the pump causing this. I gotta get it hooked up to my D5 tonight. This cheapo $10 pump I was using for testing sucks. And I also have not put the lights in yet.

Frozen-Q

I will try and get some lights in tonight. I have like 15 orders for spiral reservoirs that I have to continually work on as my first priority.
As for what went wrong, well that acrylic glue, if it drips down the side at all, does NOT come off.

I was wondering if you angled the holes toward the outer walls. I like the way you think.:D
The angled ports on the cap in the background would be perfect for driving spinning parts. -Well, one of the ports would. The exit port would be better flat.
I may bum some parts from you yet...
Don't throw anything away!!! Send it to meeeee!!! (Again, what's my name?)
Frozen-Q

Well the holes are angled to the walls, hence you get that cool effect.

I'm still thinking...
http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb255/cheapskate_02/resspinnerweb.jpg
The fact that you can do so much more than what is possible with subtractive techniques is slowly starting to sink in.
I have an idea for you to play with.:D Something like this with a bottom inlet, mounted on a central shaft, and some kind of spin-able doo-dad mounted to it. In theory, the water pressure would make it spin, (if the fit was just right. Too loose and the water would flow around. Too tight and friction would stop it.)
-Sorry, I ramble when I get ideas.
