i940 at 4ghz
ambient 22.0-22.1c(3 digital thermometers)
3mounts each...no variance...ended up with same temp values...

mx-2 22g syringe
prime95 + realtemp + 15minutes
480gtx push pull + dual 355 pumps with xspc tops

last place: dtek fuzion v2, even with high flow...it couldn't keep up with FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU or ek, computer restarted go figure
3rd place: gtz, not exactly good, but it had slightly better temps that the fuzionv2, had leak problems with it, computer restarted..
2nd place: ek supreme...as the name implies..it is supreme only to old blocks..
1st place: k350, no surprise..tested and remounted for this review...best damn block in water cooling at the moment..

I haven't seen this mounted to a dtek in person, but the temps show that it is probably not a proper mount..:shrug:

It is truly a shame that D-TEK sold as many FuZion blocks as they have and left there customers hanging without a proper 1366 mount. To me it shows an utter disregard for those who have spent their hard earned money to line someones pockets.

That said, I still don't believe the FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU "hockey puck" block to be superior...

I remember seeing D-Tek telling they are having a real manufacturing issue and they are switching manufacturers. I think they hit a bad snag while doing that unfortunately :(

What voltage did you use to reach 4ghz? Temps seem a bit high on the gtz. With my 920 at 3.8ghz (1.3v) and gtx 280 in the loop - 100% load on both I've only seen 60c. 55c before i added the 280 to loop. WCG and Seti@home-cuda loads it up good. I have a 120.3 ,swifty655, gtz and FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU vid-428 with noctua p12 in pull. :confused:

D-TEK is in California, I have a very hard time beliving it's taking this long to find a shop to make them for D-TEK. I believe someone pissed away their profits...:igotit:

I'd rather stick wasps up me arse than stick that ugly piece of shit on a new build.

thanks for taking the time to test and post your results :up:

looks like the supreme works well on the i7.

what country are you in honda? I might send my heatkiller via your place for comparison :)

Lets see you add the Supreme LT to the mix! I'd love to see how it stacks against the Supreme.

@ balzor
i'm in washington... i ordered the heatkiller from RRR ...dont worry it will be tested when it comes...the ek supreme lt too

@RRR
about the mounts..i mounted the dtek several times...so far my hard mounts are very good...i redid 4times friday night all with same results..thats why i only showed the simple graph....i'm just disappointed at its performance... it performed well on the dual core e8600...

believe what you believe...i love my FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU..after testing...here's my setup...

@grumpy

you probably have a better cpu...testing here involves constant cpu overclocks room temps etc...and my cpuz tells me the vcore is at 1.408v...at load its 1.392...
