Looks to be a cinema film projector... A Christie DLP projector to be more specific.

Methinks this is more of a "look what I found! this projector uses watercooling" than it is a "look! I watercooled a projector" thread.

I think its factory liquid cooled, and the OP just stumbled across it.
I have a feeling that link is an AV tech of sorts.

howdy guys,

sorry I've not been back to any sites with a DCinema projector this week yet for better/more pics

I install these projectors for a living, and yes they do come with water cooling from the factory.

when I saw this new projector for the first time I was taken back with FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU and laing. Nothing wrong with either, was just not expecting it.

Much as we rag on FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU (and much of that is deserved, mind you) they have done a lot of good stuff over the years. This is probably just fine for the application.

yep it was suggested there was less then 50 watts of heat to be removed from each dmd chip
