Introdution

"Again received a kit, 4GB of DDR3 of a German manufacturer called CompuStocx, or simply CSX.

The CSX is better known for its memory kits for Apple computers, but lately also giving some fruit in memory dedicated to overclocking.

As has been customary, it is more a kit of memories of high-end DDR3, with the model name of DIABLO and produced to operate at a speed of 2000Mhz Cas 9 and 1.9V. We tested this kit on overclocking in Nvidia platform using different nF790i latencies and voltages.

Specifications

Each DIMM memory is composed of 8-layer PCBs. Micron D9GTR the chips are known as a reference to take into account the world of Overclocking.

The memories are cooled by a large aluminum waster that plays its role very well.

This time the CSX redesigned the look of their memories, making some changes in the composition of the logo.

-OS: Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP1

Results

Here let the results obtained during our analysis.
All of them have undergone the test of Super Pi 32M.
By this we mean that not all kits will be equal to this.
Surely there are better and bad.

During the tests, we use a voltage of 1.6v up to 2.1v.

Today, with the new system from Intel, Core i7, we should not use more of that in 1.6v/1.7v memories, so these graphics may help him in any doubt.

Conclusion

As has been happening in these kits of memories DIABLO, the CSX specifies the chips used in each DIMM memory. Specifying the chips, it becomes a more attractive product for most Overclockers.
How can we repair in our review, CAS9 recommends the CSX to achieve the 2000mhz, with 1.9V, who is willing to use more voltage, with CAS8 can certainly take advantage of these 2000mhz adding 2.1V instead of 1.9V.

With the introduction of Intel's Core i7, we are entering the end of life of the generation Dual-Channel already prodomina few years. Having said that, we will be waiting for us to send the new kit of CSX Triple-channel, you will certainly be some improvements for use with a lower voltage and higher speed.

Thus, this kit of memory is evaluated by us as Very Recommended and leaves with a note of 9 values in 10. "
