TEST SETUP:
CPU: i5-655K 4GHZ (30X133) 1.216v
MOBO: Asus P7P55D Deluxe
GPU: GTX280 EVGA
RAM: Mushkin REDlines
PSU: Corsair TX950
Heatsink: Thermalright Venomous-X (preassure screw set to 0)

i just got some of the new TX-4 and will be pitting it against AS Sliver 5, IC Perehelion, IC Diamond, AC MX-2, and AS Ceramique. the review it's self will probably take a little bit due to the nature of it and different TIM's used. I will use 3 different mounts for an avg final temp.

Spread Method: one rice sized dot spread out evenly on an unlapped IHS

NOTE: the TX-4 while easier to spread then the TX-3/MX-3 is still quite hard to spread when compared to TX-2/MX-2 AS5 ceramiqe etc

Now here is the dilema I have. should I use a water setup (hk 3.0, TC 120.3 d5 etc), or an air cooling setup (venomous-x). I am unsure which would be more beneficial to use.

Do both, there are more air coolers than water users but a dual test would be stellar if you have the time
