Can some one recommend a good one. I have never owned one but my wife and I are having DVR conflicks and I will use the PC with these issues arrise...Thanks in advance

I have a PCIe compro card http://www.comprousa.com/en/home.html

Works well for me

not sure what signal you guys have in the states but dual hybrid tuners are good for Oz

One point to look out for is vista compatability... I had heaps of problems with this

I also use a couple compro cards... doesn't have very refined software but the card and its packaged software have never let me down.

Hauppauge TV tuner cards is one of the best you can get. I have a HVR-1600 and I'm very happy with it. The PCI-E equivalent would be the HVR-1800

Yeah ive never been that impressed with the software that comes with tuner cards... I just use VMC

Hauppauge TV tuner cards is one of the best you can get. I have a HVR-1600 and I'm very happy with it. The PCI-E equivalent would be the HVR-1800

Yes they are good too... I was trying to remember the name.
I have one of those in my HTPC

I did look at the HVR-1800 as newegg carries it and has the most reviews and the better ones. Thanks for everyones responces.....
