As the title states I'm looking for some UV dye for my rig, but I have been told to stay away from Feser as it gels up over time. Any suggestions?

in general stay away from dyes, if you want UV fluid go with a pre-mixed solution, its your best bet, but it will still clog up your loop over time, especially if you have anything with a micro-pin design or tiny slots like the supreme.

*p.s. I find it sad that I can submit a reply, go to a whole other thread, read what was said, and come up with something to say, type it, and be done, before the 30 second limit is up, FAIL*

I've heard lots of stories of dye's seperating from water and clogging shit up...
The only product I've not heard bad things about (other than price) is the FESER-ONE Pre-mixed coolant.

thansk, yeah as far as premixed I would go with Feser. Lets see i got some but Im going to use it on my AMD rig when it gets up and running again. So ill probably get pre mixed feser uv blue for my main rig which is the i7

the only off the shelf coolant I used was alphacola.... after a week my tubes were stained and the fluid was clear as water.
DW+Nuke+UV Tubing FTW
if only EK would make a UV blue multioption res :)

I used FluidXP in my first rig and had no problems. But I think I'd rather just buy coloured tubing if I was going that route rather than dye of any sort.

what about uv paint? Would that work on the res?

i have used uv paint in the past, and it was hard to get an even application, and it actually smelled quite bad, even after a couple months.
perhaps the uv paint has improved.
is there uv paint in a can-that would work better than a brush.

i found similar at ebay.
it cannot be transported by air.
i found a link in canada,i have emailed them a ? about it.
it would cost $75 for 2 cans
pretty pricey, but i think it could work very well on a res.
