Well since the ram I am running right now are 1gb sticks rated in cpu-z at 533 c7 609 c8 are really shitty needing cas 10+ for anything near 666. I am looking for a cheep upgrade (35-45USD/gb); I found some 2x 2gb 2000mhz cas 9 or 1600 cas 7 for around 140 USD shipped. Which would I be better off getting? Or should I look for something different? The rig is used primarily for gaming and running WCG and Gpugrid on one card.

Examples of ram I've been considering:

So no one has any input on 1600 mhz cas 7 vs 2000 mhz cas 9 speeds? I'm about to meet in the middle and get them dom's.

1600MHz at 7-7-7-18 will perform about par as 2000MHz 9-9-9-24
