Thats a very nice lightbox, but why are all of your pictures so underexposed?

ZeniTH
12-12-2008, 10:44 PM
WB off, hand held taken, other light sources in the background and the most important reason !!!!

Im still in pampers concerning digital photography... but Im learning something new each day...

Do you have any tips on how to fix the underexposure??

Thanks in advance !!

Cutless009
12-12-2008, 10:49 PM
Yah, decrease your shutter speed? lol.

And yes your white-balance IS off, make sure its set correctly for each picture, most cameras have an automatic white balance for different lighting (tungsten, flourescent, etc), with those lights, they look like tungsten (like a light bulb), they give off an orange-ish light, flourescents give off a green light, etc, so just make sure you've got that set right when you're taking pictures.

nice pics. i don't really have the eye for those high def pictures.

nice light box too, at least you didn't have to use the whole wall...

ZeniTH
12-12-2008, 10:50 PM
dooooohhhhh !!!!

I just notice that i left the WB setting on "flash"... instead of "tungsteen"...
but anyway I have to create a custom WB for my shots on the box...!!

Rice paper is the stuff that comes in Shoji Screens, and that you see in japanese houses indoors where theres white in between pallets of wood thats always letting off light but its still not see through.

You can get it at most craft/hobby stores, but this place has it in better sizes:

http://www.eshoji.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=E&gclid=CKr6-p3D0pcCFQECGgod3AoxCg

I use it for making all kinds of stuff, especially hand made lamps :)

I used it to make this lamp on top of my piano:

I love my piano ^_^

I doubt its just me ZeniTH, in all honesty its a pretty complicated loop but you made it look real simple and clean with hoses at just the right length which isn't easy to do so i tip my hat.

Zenith,

Really nice work and I love that white tubing. Can you post a few overall photos with he side panels on?

Also, does that murdermod front panel allow for a DVD/CD-ROM tray to work right?

The one thing that has stopped me with the TJ-07 is lack of a good hidden bay cover for a DVD/CD-ROM without having to hack the Lian Li bay covers.

One last thing, what radiators are you running in there? Your first post says 480, but it does not look like one is in there. Can you also take a picture of the other side to see that radiator as well.

Does the murdermod DVD/CD-ROM cover (part that ejects with the tray) just stick onto the front of the tray or is it held on mechanically?
