now alot of you will speak from past experience on 775 or am2 but i want to know about i7 performance.
from the looks of it, the GTX would be better because its more free flowing and has alot more surface area to spread the heat.
but...
the fuzion is a very good design to remove heat very quickly and efficiently.
i have already measured and the fuzion DOES cover the i7 die BUT its very close to the edge.
the GTZ that i had, but sold, was NOT covering the entire die of the chip therefore the temps were higher on the outer cores.
but what do you think? GTX or Fuzion?
NOTE: GTX with copper top... not alu shit.

well i went ahead and ordered what seemed to be the last copper gtx in all of the earth but it should be here in a few days.
i'll test both and see but i still want to hear what other people have to say on this.

I was under the impression that it does. Seems like it would be a good block for these.

I don't have a Supreme so I don't speak from experience, but from what I've heard finding a good Supreme is like finding a needle in a haystack. Now someone who has a Supreme please comment on this. The past few months I've heard that QC over at EK has had more than a few of the Supremes not working to good.
IMO, the Fuzion is gonna be a solid block on the i7. I think the V2 with it's thinner base should really work out well with the i7.
I'm eyeballing the Heatkiller's though. Depending on how restrictive they are, they could be a major contender for i7 blocks.

I won't have a problem myself, I will have :
-Fuzion v2 base with fits delrin top
-Heatkiller 3.0 CU
That's my choices and I'll pick the best when I get a i7 setup later ;)

I can chime in and say that the Supreme is decent on i7 based on my setup, but I've probably got less radiator than I need. I'm waiting for my Heatkiller V3 and then we'll see which one does better for me.

thats the gtx
max with fuzion is 52c but idle is 31c so overall the gtx is better.
WOW!! dang now time for Swiftech to start production of these again!
