Thats right people, its time for me to build my personal system! So let the new project begin!
Now personally, I hate REALLY hate having huge bulky computers around, but at the same time, I dont want to lose performance, so for this project, Im going to be cramming the following parts:
2x 285
1x i7 920
12gb Ram (2x sets of 3x 2gb ram modules)
2x Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb drives in raid 5
2x Western Digital Caviar Black 500gb drives in Raid 5
1x Western Digital Caviar Black 750gb drive for backup purposes.
1x Swiftech 2x120mm radiator
1x DDC 3.2
1x EK Supreme w/ 1333 mounting plate
1x BP Black POM bay res.
Into...
A Lian Li PC-V800B. Say what? A what? What Lian Li is that?
IT THIS!

you may remember this case from the thread I made a while back about tearing apart the oldest computer in my house:

Its tiny inside! Heres a shot of the periphs that were in it before:

Right now my only concern is that since the PSU is directly behind the GPU slots, will they fit?! may have to do some custom mounting stuffs!
Placing the order for the parts in about 2 weeks, and in the mean time Ive broken down the case into all its parts and started painting it all flat black, hence, black hole! WOO!!

Oooo forgot to say how I was going to do it! The res of course gets mounting in the bay, the rad will be mounted to the side next to the bays (the hd brackets will be mounted elsewhere), and I'll be cutting a custom hole in the side of the case for it and covering it in black modders mesh. The top is getting cut open and that fan removed, and it will be basically a big hole like for a window, except modders mesh as well to help with air flow, and then on the other side of the case another hole for another 120mm fan or two if I can fit them without them hitting the PSU or getting in the way of the third SLI card for when I get it. The pump will be mounted to the rear of the case most likely, and then the hard drives will get mounted, well somewhere, not sure yet!
