I see a lot of people using modder's mesh and the like, but how do you fasten it to the case, grill, side panel, etc.
Thanks.

The best way is make a ring that bolts thru the case and holds the mesh in. This also looks the best depending on how you do it.
Hot glue is probably the simplest method and doesnt look too bad.
Double sided tape will work but looks ghetto if you can see it.

use a thin piece of aluminum flat bar to sandwich modder's mesh between case and flatbar... then use some button head screws and nylon insert nuts...
double sided tape is also good, 1 inch 3M is very sticky...

use Tarp style Alu/steel Grommets the size of the hole . Flatten out the inside edge after sanding / grinding down to the thickness needed
gives a pro look , when u then add Allen headed bolts

I sandwiched mine using aluminium strips on the back and 6/32 screws/nuts.

Re: 2x tape. Thought I'd pass on a website I found when I was lookin' around for something like the 2x tape that CoolerMaster uses in their cases - thin as masking tape and could probably hold space shuttle tiles.
I've always heard this clear 2x tape
http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh70/diggermats/tapeothegods.jpg
is the pc modding standard, but it seems a bit thick.
Anyway, found a place that has a good range of 3M VHB 2x tape, which the site describes as... "The 3M® VHB® range offers the strongest bond available of all adhesive tapes and an alternative bond to rivets, screws and welding."
The white tape is described as the strongest, and is 36% thinner than the clear version (which is actually described as the weakest).

tho I'm not sure how close the clear stuff ("4910") they have is to the stuff in the above pic ("4010")
kinda looks more like one of these:

The clear heavy duty version? If so, pick some up for me and save it until we can meet up.

In the past I've used 3M's VHB tape sparingly for such applications.
