I beg to differ....I don't care about the HT feature being on, but you have to have all cores firing before it means anything to me:down:

i have yt to see ANY i7 go past 5.2ghz with HT on r all cores enabled its damn amazing for any i7 to go that high, almost as high as the phenom 2's first came out
so how do you turn off the cores on an i7 any way. Im trying to find some info as to how to do this but haven't been able to find this info.

It's called BIOS :moon:

I know that much. Im using a rampage 2 extreme and I don't see any options for turning the cores off. I see an option for HT and active cores but no other options for turning them off. I just want to run one core with HT off.

its activer cores m8, set active cores to the amount you want on, most i7 4c 8t cpus will only allow you to manually set 1 core or 2 cores or all 4 cores, side not I find that usually the i7's runn better if you set it to 2 cores

Apologies, but now back on topic.....Even with an ES, binning, access to LOTS of chips, etc. etc. that is one hell of an achievment Hicookie!! WOW!!

I wonder what type of setup that guy is using. 53C on water with 1.7V, is his res a well in the ground??? But those clocks are just fucking insane for 12 threads.

that UD9 looks like one bad ass board
and with only one shade of blue on it, its not as pukeworthy as other pokebyte boards.
would make a solid platform for a blue themed build.
