What vcore are you guys running and what clocks and temps do u get?

I'm currently at 1.45v and 4.4ghz, 65c loaded

This tells me I could push it to 1.55 but that sounds high

hey
funny you posted this. i just finished an oc for work on my 920. tested ok on IBT standard. going to run through maximum soon. idle and max deltas on my sig.

quick and dirty from cpuz

core speed 4050mhz
multiplier x21
busspeed 193
core voltage 1.28 (used 1.27 for whole of last year on 3.98ghz)
ocz xmp profile 1333mhz (8888 timing)
intel sidestep disablea

My 920 does 4.4ghz with 1.38v and temps are right around the same. Pushing for 4.5ghz needed too much of an increase and didn't seem worth it.

I'm running 1.296v @ 4ghz. I idle around the mid to high 30s. Load somewhere around the 60s (if I remember correctly).

Nice. I can't seem to get past 4.05 regardless of voltage. It boots into windows but I get a BSOD super quick on Prime95. What mobo are you on if I may ask?

Just bumped mine up to 1.49 and am at 4.5 and 70c loaded :)

I wish I could keep my temps around that with that much vcore. My loop needs some improvements.

My loop is overkill... Mora2>D5>HK 3.0 :crack:

That explains it. I'm only using an mcr320 and have a pair of gtx 260 on the loop as well :o I have a third 260 with a block just sitting pretty until I can upgrade the cooling.

Man thats a lot of heat going into that rad i would wait to push your 920 anymore till you can get more rad into that loop. :crack:

4.2GHz all day on my 920 D0 @ 1.325 vcore... according to E-LEET, it idles around 30 degrees (45 at the cores) and under load hits 50 (62 at the cores).

Setup: single loop, GTX295 included, HK blocks on botch GPU/CPU and 5x120 thermo rads.

I wish my 930 vcore was lower

What board you using Liu Kang?

4.2, 1.325V, 12gigs of dominator classy 760, on air w true copper lapped, push is 110cfm delta 120x25, pull is delta grand c 240cfm 120.38. yes, 3 ft from my head. apartment's full of grand c's.

70-75C at load on the cores w/ bigadv folding (ambient hits near 100F during the day but that's the fault of the ~50 folding@home clients in there)

What board you using Liu Kang? That's on my EVGA x58 Micro... used slightly higher vcore settings on my x58 LE to get those speeds and stability.

I use 1.35v @ 4.2GHz for my 24/7 clock. If I want 4.4GHz the cpu wants about 1.5v

Mines at 1.41v @ 4.2g and hits about 60c with HT off. Can't imagine temps at 1.55v.

Where'd you find those specs at Ballzor?

I'm on 1.39 with 4.11ghz with 70c on IBT.

The MORA sounds tempting. :D

Btw Sider, what's your ambient? So we can see your DT.

Somewhere around 25c usually.

when my 860 was up and running, I did 4.2ghz @ 1.325V but had to have the VVT/imc voltage up to 1.4 to do it. it is said that 1.47V should be that maximum for 24/7 usage anything higher is only good in small doses

DT = 35 for 1.41v. Very nice.

That didn't sound right to me so I ran LinX for a while and I'm actually at 66c load. Prior temps were winter temps when the room is 7-8c lower.

Thanks for clarifying. Good temps nonetheless.
