Come on Cutty you know there not that bad... I RMA'd my Maximus II Formula Tuesday my replacement is already in the mail and there paying to ship the old board back :D

If you want a bad RMA experience buy Gigabyte next time

I think he said 1,000 (EU) in the vid. Im not sure what the current rate is but I think that it is some thing around 1250 US.

Why does Asus only release 1000 fucking cards? I would think if you charged half the price and made way more units you could have a lot more money...

Sorry to hate but, I love triple slotted cards, they are awesome and make such good use of 7 pci slot mobo's cause you can fill all the slots with two cards. And wtf do those monster's weigh? And who the fuck needs a new mouse paired specially with their gpu, or a fucking briefcase??????

they use low esd caps so you wont see many. this card is full of gimiks imo. not gonna perform much better than a standard 5970 im willing to bet. yes the card will cost 1250 or more. look at the one they did up for nvidia cost over $1000 per card because OMGWTFBBQ only XXX amount were made, so what! that just means when your $1k card bites the dust you will get a card that cost half as much for an rma!

They have the ASUS ROG Matrix which is only $500. (And then they have their normal 5870 for $400) They make these ultra high end card and price them that way because

1) these cost a lot to make and are limited runs.
2) there are enough people more then willing to pay.

That is like asking why Intel EE's cost so much...because look how many people drop the cash.
