Hello all,
Well, instead of resurrecting my old thread, I decided to start a new one.

Well, I took the advise of most of you and redesigned my Ascension Rear panel, moving the PSU opening up to the 120mm fan opening, so wiring won't be a problem.....

Of course it didn't help that I tried to mount the PA120.2s, and they didn't have enough clearance from the bottom of the case. Needed another few mm... Oh well, at least now I got to move the PSU.

So here my stuff....
CPU... QX9770
Mobo.. ASUS Rampage Extreme
Mem.. OCZ Platinum 4Gb 1200 (I think....)
GPU.. (2) AMD 4870x2
Sound Card.. X-Fi Titanium
HDD... (2)300Gb WD Velociraptor RAID 0
...... WD 500 Gb for backup and storage
Optical.. ASUS DVD burner, and a Blu-Ray/HD-DVD drive
PSU... FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU 1200W H20 Cooled (same as Rubidium's)

Cooling.
Heatkiller V3 CPU all copper block
Bitspower Black Freezer, or separate EK blocks, or separate FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU Blocks.
Bitspower MOS blocks, or EK, or FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU. (have all three both mobo blocks and MOS blocks)
EK Full Cover 4870x2 Nickle plated GPU blocks
(5) DDC pumps, with XSPC tops... Also have (3) XSPC res tops... may use both.
both 150 and 250 EK reservoirs
(3) PA120.3 Rads
(2) PA120.2 Rads
(3) PA120.3 Shrouds
Yate Loon med, and Yate Loon LED low fans.
A bunch of Bitspower Compression fittings, 45s, 90s, about everything they make. A few FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU fittings.
1/2"ID Tygon Silver tubing (for the color, NOT the antimicrobial properties)

So, I'm trying to figure out how to connect everything... ie. should I connect the CPU and each 4870x2 to a PA120.3 and use the 120.2 for the Mobo and Mosfets?

And, no I'm not really interested in using any iwaki pumps... Sorry R3 and the rest of the iwaki crew. hehe

I need to know if there's a problem using the Yate Loon Low speed on the 120.3 push, and the med speed yate loons on the shroud in pull?

Need an idea for fan control... I know about both the BigNG and the Aquearo, and I'm leaning towards the Aquearo due to the continued support, and I thought you could use the fan amps with it. I've connected three of the fans on each shroud together, and plan on doing the same with the other 3 fans on the opposite side of the rad.... which would give me a total of 11 or 12 fan channels.... Unless I connect all 6 of the fans on each 120.3 rads, for 3, 24watts each channels, 2, 6watts each channels, and 2 single fan channels. I have a bunch of temp sensors, and flow sensors I'm not sure what to do with, or what to connect it to...
I have, sittting around my office, 2 Scyth Kaze fan controllers, 2 sunbeam controllers, 2 Zalman wattmeter/fan controller, and a Lamptron fan controller.

Oh man.. that's lots of info....

Anywho.. any advice would be helpful. It's all I have time to write.... So if I think of anything else... I'll write more later...

Oh, and as an aside... Un designs Dave, I'll need that bracket... when I have the panel, I'll get you some measurements. Can you do it in black wrinkle? if not, plain black is fine..... Let me know how much....

later, and thanks in advance for the ideas.....

wow... nobody has anything for ideas?

Kinda surprised.

If nothing else, I could really use some help figuring out how to control my fans....

I've heard differing opinions on whether the fanamps work with the Aquearo? anyone know for sure? If I go with either, what do I need to monitor: fan speed, Flow rate, and water temps. I'd ultimately like to have water temp control the fan speed, and I seem to recall that both units are capable of doing this, but which is easier to set up?

Thanks for any info, anyone can provide....

1 120.3 for cpu
1 120.3 for gpu
1 120.2 for other stuff
sounds about right.

well iwaki rd30 i hope to fit you in my ghetto 18x18x18 cube soon...

i think the argument with slow and medium fans together are somewhat like using ddc3.1 and 3.2 in series, probably not too good for one or the other...

am gonna be using mostly sflex-f or san aces, or those zalman f3 like Andy Mcoffey...

As septim says, since you have the rads, 120.3 for CPU and each GPU, One or both 120.2s for the mobo stuff. Or 120.2 for mobo stuff and one 120.2 for the PSU.

I have used both yate L and M fans on the PAs. I now like the L fans better as I cool for silence. But with a fan controller, the M fans will give you better cooling flexibility if you want.

If you are worried about having enough fan capacity, go with the bigNG equipment. One of the biggest complaints in the forums with Aquaero is lack of available Watts for fan combos. I have both and moving to the the Aquaero for something new and better software interface. However, for an extreme rig of this nature, I think a bigNG will help control the greater number of fans you will have.

RRR can give you some insight into the fanamps with Aquero. I do not think they work.

Thanks for the info guys. The rad setup was the same as I was thinking... the .3s for GPUs and CPU .2 for mobo and .3 for PSU....

As for the fans, I don't mind the YL L series, I want quiet too... in fact I didn't even realize I had mixed the speeds... I picked up the Ms to go on the fan shrouds, and then thought the LED loons would look good on the opposite side.... and didn't even look at speeds.... D'oh....

What has me confused regarding the BigNG was the different modules... sensor module, fanamp... etc... Confusing. But, I'll look into it...

Thanks,
