View Full Version : zipties instead of clamps??
i have always used the generic steel clamps for the tubing.
while not the prettiest solution they do work.
i use primochill lrt tubing, and i have been playing around with zipties on some barbs.
is there a risk that the zipties will cut through the tubing, and what is an ideal width of the ties.
thanks

imo the 7" ties are best then snip off the excess afterwards. They won't cut into the tubing either just yank them good with a pair of needle nose pliers or something to tighten them good.

All I use are zipties, never had a problem with them either. I use 4" zip ties, larger ones work just as well though.

Cold Canadian weather good for overclocking.... but i see condensation problems?
i still prefer worm drive clamps, especially when i am gonna be using an RD30... Compression barbs can probably come after the EK supreme...
