This is a semi-update of my thread in the mobo forum, with a shit-ton of different parts.

So, I've been watching the market pretty closely and have come to the basic outline for this build. She isn't quite the power-user that I am, so I'm not going top-notch on this.

Caseking linked because nobody beats their photo galleries. Couple of polski sites linked because nobody else carries the products outside Polskilandia.

This is the plan as it stands:
Case: Lian Li PC-Q08b (http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/Cases/Lian-Li/Lian-Li-PC-Q08-Series/Lian-Li-PC-Q08B-Mini-ITX-Tower-Cube-black::14478.html) (due in June, pre-ordered)
CPU: i5 750
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H55N-USB3 (http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=1562.0) Socket 1156. (due in June, no other info at present)
GPU: 5970 (reference, manufacturer irrelevant)
Ram: Don't really know. Corsair? 4GB 1333/1600 dual channel. Depends on motherboard's OC capabilities. Tempted to get hold of some Chaintech Apogee GT Blazer DDR3, but availability is really limited, being a 2008 product.
PSU: Corsair HX620 (bought used a few days ago)
HDD: Undecided. The mobo has RAID, so at least 2x 1GB drives. But SSD? Undecided.

Cooling:
CPU Waterblock: Undecided. Got a spare Heatkiller here, but I'm sorely tempted by the AC Cuplex. The Anfi Tec Soleil (http://shop.anfi-tec.de/product_info.php/info/p64_Anfi-tec-Soleil01-i7-1156---1366----CPU-Kuehler.html) isn't bad either if it comes with a copper top. Or the Ybris Black Sun (http://www.angela.pl/p5611,ybris-black-sun-full-chrome-s775-1156-1366-xs-f.html).
GPU Waterblock: AC HD5970 (http://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_info.php?products_id=2425). Definitely the nickel-plated version with delrin terminals.
Radiator: Watercool 140.3. (due in June)
Pump: D5 vario. As usual. Got an EK top laying around too.
Res: Not a fuckin' clue. I'm not a fan of bay reservoirs or acrylic cylinders. But, I'll probably just use another AquaTube anyway.

Fans:
SilentiumPC Zephyr 120mm (http://www.cooling.pl/silentiumpc-zephyr-120-136-dba,produkt,550802.html?from_category=30_67)
4x SilentiumPC Zephyr 140mm (http://www.cooling.pl/silentiumpc-zephyr-140-89-dba,produkt,550805.html) (already got 'em, still in boxes, might as well use 'em)

Motherboard will have passive cooling. ITX doesn't heat up all that bad. Will apply some Microcool minisinks where appropriate.

So, any thoughts on this? Advice? Unusual product recs? (I like unusual products.)

where exactly are you putting this rad at? :confused:

You're asking that question of a guy who runs dual Mo-Ra Pros? lol

Well, unlike some people, I'm not stuck in the mind-set that a rad has to be an internal component. It'll mount on the underside of her desktop, of course. ;)

This build isn't about portability; it's about a small silent footprint on the desktop.

Well, nothing major will happen until the end of June. Plus, she doesn't know anything about it yet, and I plan to keep it that way until it's done. Maybe I'll manage some discrete pornography. Er, photography.

@BenGun,
die anderen Radiatorgrößen kommen im Juni/Juli

@heinniheine,
es kommen auf alle Fälle Dual 140 und Triple 140mm Radiatoren. Andere Größen wurden noch nicht festgelegt.

Googleized:
BenGun @,
the other radiator sizes come in June / July

@ Heinniheine,
happens in any case, Dual 140 and triple 140mm radiators. Other sizes have not been determined.

So, I'm basing my ETA on that.
