Before I install sensors, I'm a bit curious to what the avg water temp is.
I'd like to know, so I could I could adjust computer shut-down on a higher temp(in case psu molex comes loose)
Last thing I need is the tubing heating up, which may result in a pool of water all over the electronics.

I believe that would relevent to your ambient enviroment.

I honestly have no idea about my own average water temp. I'm thinking of getting some water temp sensors myself for my own curiosity.

my water runs in the 28-38C range.
Id recomend setting it to shut down if the water goes over 50.
Any higher and you risk tube blow-out.

Eddie3dfx,
What system are you using to monitor water temps? bigNg, Aquaero, etc.?

The software that crystalfontz uses along with the crystalfontz 633 lcd/fan controller.

OK. What about hardware wise? BP temp sensors, etc? Are you plugging the temp sensor into the mobo or some other hardware?

I won't lie, I haven't even found the proper serial cable for it yet :)
There is one port in the back for digital sensors.. you can daisy chain up to 32 of them the device recognizes them.
What I'm going to do is pickup about 9-10 of them and put 3 in resevoirs (for water) and one on the hardrive block, ramblock, cpu, ambient, air in and out, and what not.
They are fairly cheap, about $1-3 a pop.
Rubidium had a good writeup on it

Mine is normally 16-20c on first bootup and from 20-23 on full load over a while. I'm using a t-line sensor plugged into a scythe kama fan meter.

Do you have an auto-shutoff after a certain temp?

Nope, the temp sensors aern't connected to the computer at all just to a fan controller which displays it.

I use alphacool G1/4 probes in delrin Tees, I hook mine into the temp sensor headers on my mobo

Can you please tell me exactly how you hook it up..

next to the fan headers on my S2E there are 2 Pin Temp Probe Headers
What board do you have?
